MEDICATIONS ALLOWABLE IN PREGNANCY COLDS Plain Sudafed for congestion (do not take if you have high blood pressure) Plain Robitussin, Plain Mucinex or Robitussin DM for cough Any throat lozenges, Vicks Vapor Rub, and saline nasal spray Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 650 mg every 4-6 hours for fever, aches, headache and if not working, may have up to 1000mg every 8 hours, but do not exceed
