Pediatric CT Scan
Take medications as normal. No preparations required. Arrive an hour and a half prior to your appointment time and allow at least 4 hours in total. Nothing to eat or drink 4 hours prior to Nothing to eat or drink for three hours prior to your exam time (especially coffee). No Viagra or similar type medication for 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please bring: health card, all relevant imaging, paperwork, and an interpreter (if necessary). You are required to: 1. Call your doctor’s office and advise them of your CT appointment. 2. Ask for a requisition to have blood work done for creatinine levels. Results required within 1 month of appointment time. 3. Have your results faxed to the Diagnostic Imaging Department at 905-494-6618 or you can bring them with you on the day of your appointment.
