IMPORTANT NOTES :
1 The site is located in ISOMED Complex out side BARC Campus near South Gate. 2 All the items of sub-structure include the cost of dewatering & shoring wherever necessary during the progress of work, till its completion without any extra cost tothe Department. Tenderers are advised to visit the site of work to acquaintthemselves, about the level of sub- soil water, drainage facility for dewatering,accessibility to the site etc., and quote the rates accordingly.
3 PPC/blended cement of ISI mark shall only be used for finishing works with prior 4 The tenderer shall provide barricade consisting of MS angle/ pipe posts runners, bracing & corrugated GI sheet for a height upto 3m to separate the working area,maintaining the barricade in good condition including removing the same aftercompletion of the work without any cost to Department. The barricade shall beerected before commencement of the work.The contractor shall submit drawing/sketch showing details of barricading for prior approval of Engineer in Charge.
5 Permission from the Engineer in Charge in writing is required for dismantling the 6 Quoted rate shall be inclusive of all types and shapes of RCC members like plain/ curved or any other geometric shape at all height and location.
7 The approach road should be kept clean & free from obstructions for smooth functioning of existing traffic. Damages caused (if any) to be made good withoutany extra cost.
8 Royalty for excavation, transportation, filling of earthwork etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority, if any shall be borne by the contractor.
9 The following security regulation shall be followed strictly while movement of labourers/ workers/ contractor's personnel etc.
(i)The contractor shall issue I-Cards to his workers deployed on regular basis.
(ii) The supervisor of the contractor having photo pass can bring daily wagesworkers/ casual workers inside ISOMED for work.He should prepare list of suchworkers in duplicate. The original copy shall be handed over to the security atthe gate and obtained endorsement on duplicate copy.
(iii) The contractor personnel including daily wage workers shall be in uniform withproper identification in order to ease in identification of such persons atunauthorised places.
(iv) The daily wage workers/ casual workers employed by trhe contractor mustwear florescence visi wear without fail during their presence inside ISOMEDpremises.
10 Security Regulations & rules of BRIT/ DAE shall be strictly followed while movement / deployment of materials & work forces.
11 The drawings issued for tender purpose are preliminary and indicative only. The working drawing shall be issued in phased manner at the time of execution.
12 The contractor shall arrange water and electricity for construction purpose of his Signature of Tenderer with Date and seal : SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES

Note:- Nominal Reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevant item.
a) PCC 1:4:8 in foundation, mudmat course etc.
b) PCC 1:2:4 in sub base flooring, foundation, pedestals, cable pits, cable trenches, plinth protection etc.
REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE
Notes :- a) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly inaccordance with the drawings and specifications.
b) The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unlessotherwise mentioned.
c) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm. maximumsize & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned.
d) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall includethe following without any extra cost to theDepartment.
i) Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. ii) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by/ through the Department.
iii) Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS456-2000. and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.

a) For all type of Structural / RCC Elements Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) confirming to IS 4926 (latest) in lieu ofconventional RCC/PCC items supplied byapproved RMC manufactures for all type ofstructural / RCC elements including transporting,pumping etc. complete as per instruction ofEngineer in Charge.
620.00 Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering &centering for form work in foundation plinth at alllocations for all geometrical shapes in plain, curvedsurfaces of structural / RCC elements includingchamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails,bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc.,providing & applying approved form oil on allsurfaces of form work coming in contact withconcrete including close hacking of all exposedconcrete work after removal of form work, allmaterials, labour etc. complete as perspecifications, drawings and as directed by theEngineer in Charge. (Area of form work in contactwith concrete shall only be measured for paymentand stop boards for construction joints will not bemeasured for payment).
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying,delivering, storing of various diameters as requiredat site of work including loading, unloading,transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting,bending, placing in position at all locations & levelsand binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealedsteel binding wire including carrying out varioustests as required etc. all as per specifications,drawings & as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
i) Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL andRINL only.
The cost of binding wire shall be borne by thecontractor and binding wire shall not be measuredfor payment.

Brick masonry work in foundation and plinth, cable pits, trench, steps etc. using well burnt bricks fromapproved lot, of class designation 35 (classificationas per IS 1077-1992 and min. averagecompression strength not less than 3.50 N/mm2 ) inC.M 1: 6 to correct line, level and plumb includingraking out joints/ simultaneous flush pointing withcement mortar 1:4, curing etc. all complete as perspecifications, drawings and as directed byEngineer in Charge. i) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as230 mm & lesser wall thickness if any shall be madeup accordingly by the contractor by applying cementmortar of mix 1:4 in proper line, level & plumbwithout any extra cost to the Department.
ii) The rate shall include cost of making the brickmasonry to all geometrical shapes and sizeswithout any extra cost to the Department. Providing and laying dry rubble stone hard coresoling of following consolidated thickness in subbase to floor and in plinth protection to requiredlevels and lines with first quality rubble, hand set,well packed including filling the interstices withsmaller stone chips, supplying & finishing / blindingthe surfaces with approved blinding quality murrumincluding watering, consolidation etc. all completeas per specification drawings & as directed byEngineer in Charge.
i) Soling stone supplied by the Department at free of cost (The smaller stone to fill the interstices andmurrum etc shall be supplied by the contractor.) ii) Soling stone supplied by the contractor Providing and laying in two layers of HDPE sheet (minimum thickness 100 micron each) around substructure reinforced concrete work over a hotapplied coat of bitumen of grade 80/100 at 1.7 kg/sq.m., complete as per specifications, drawings& as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Note: i) The item is to be executed before back filling around sub structure.

Providing random rubble masonry with roughdressed hard stone in retaining wall ,compound walletc. in cement mortar 1:6 including through stone,header stone, bond stone, quoins etc. well packedincluding filling the interstices with smaller stonechips, striking, raking out joints & finishing the joints,including scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as perspecifications, drawings and as directed by theEngineer in Charge.
The rates should be inclusive of groove pointing onboth side of the compound wall above ground level.
a) Stones supplied by Department at free of cost (The smaller stone to fill the interstices shall besupplied by the contractor.) CHLORPYRIPHOS approved by centralinsecticides board as directed by the manufacturerand spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer aspre-construction anti- termite treatment at the rate of7.5 liters per sq.m. on vertical and 5 ltrs. per sq.m.
on horizontal surfaces (or as directed by themanufacturer ) within the trenches, 50% of theemulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at150mm. centre to centre etc. complete as per IS6313 Part-II & as directed by theEngineer-in-charge. (The payment will be made onthe basis of plinth area measurement only at groundfloor/stilt area for all stages of operation and verticalface will not be measured for payment) complete asper specifications, drawings and as directed by theEngineer in Charge. a) This item will be executed through approved agency who is a member of Indian Pest ControlAssociation, approved by Central InsecticidesBoard. b) The contractor shall have to furnish ten years guarantee in the prescribed proforma as perSection-10 (iv) Conditions and Clauses of Contract2008, to maintain the anti-termite treatedarea/structure free from termite. c) Prior approval of Engineer in Charge shall be obtained after testing the chemical for antitermite tobe used and shall be tested in approved laboratoryand to be submitted to Engineer in Charge. Cost oftesting shall be included in the rates quoted.
Disposing off the surplus excavated materials by mechanical transport to the nearby dumping pits /dumping areas out side the ISOMED Campus withall leads, lifts, loading, unloading, stacking,spreading, levelling etc. all complete as perspecifications & as directed by the Engineer inCharge.
Notes : - Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft / hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truckmeasurements to arrive at the net quantity forpayment, in case direct measurement is notpossible.
Providing, laying & fixing precast interlocking paverblocks of following grade of M/s. Super tiles, over alayer of 50mm thick stone dust over wellconsolidated sub-base including filling the joints withstone dust etc. including transporting to site, placingto proper line & level, top etc. complete as perspecification, drawing including cost of all material,labour, tools etc & as directed by the Engineer inCharge.
a) 60mm thick paver block of M30 grade of approved design and colour in flooring /footpathincluding applying two coats of lacquer finish etc.

Notes : i) Super structure items included in this schedule pertains to all the works above plinth level upto roofincluding parapets, water tanks,machine room,terrace level works etc. unless specified otherwise.
NOTES FOR REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE
a) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/ PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer inCharge.

MASONRY WORKS

a) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer in Charge before procurement on large scale andshall maintain the same for the entire work b) Necessary openings/ nitches/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for, by the Engineer in Charge, shallbe provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
c) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230mm and half brick wall as 115 mm and lesser wall thickness if any shallbe made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to theDepartment.
d) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to theDepartment. Providing Brick masonry work in super structure atall floors and locations using well burnt bricks fromapproved lot of class designation 35 (classificationas per IS 1077-1992 and min. averagecompressive strength not less than 3.50 N/mm2 ) inCM as mentioned below to correct line ,level andplumb including raking out joints, curing andscaffolding etc. complete as per specifications,drawings & as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Providing brick work 115mm thick in partition walls,dwarf walls, parapets, under platforms, curtain walls,fins,external boxing etc. at all floors and locationsas per drawing using well burnt bricks fromapproved lots of class designation 35 (classificationas per IS 1077-1992 and min. averagecompressive strength not less than 3.50 N/mm2) inC.M 1:4 to correct line, level & plumb includingscaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. completeas per specifications drawings & as directed by theEngineer in Charge.

FLOORING WORKS
a) The floor finish level shall be generally in level matching with the surrounding floor finish level. Noextra payment shall be entertained for matching thefloor differences.
b) Adjustment of levels in thickness of mortar bedding due to different types of flooring, if any, shall bedone by the contractor without any extra cost to theDepartment. c) The contractor shall submit and get approved the sample for flooring, skirting, dado tiles fromEngineer in Charge before bulk procurement.
d) Pattern & design of flooring/ skirting/ dado shall be approved by the Engineer in Charge beforecommencement of work.
e) Exposed edges of all natural stones used for the works like Kotah shall be machine cut and shallhave uniform thickness and mirror polished unlessotherwise mentioned.
f) The rate shall include cost of making the flooring to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extracost to the Department. Providing and laying chisel dressed and machinepolished natural stone flooring / skirting at alllocation in cement mortar bedding / backing asspecified below, close jointed and grouted withmatching cement slurry and finished to line, level etc.
as required, including cutting of stone slab,wastage, making cut outs, wherever required,machine polishing/ hand polishing (where machinecannot have access) etc. complete all as perspecifications, drawings & as directed by theEngineer in Charge.
a) In flooring, staircase landings etc. with Kotah stone slab of size 575x575x 25mm. thick laid overand including 20 mm. thick C.M. 1:4 bedding.
b) In skirting / dado with Kotah stone slab of size 575mm x 100mm x 15mm. thick laid over andincluding 12 mm. thick C.M. 1:3 backing.

c) In window cills full length single piece in length and width as decided by Engineer in Charge andincluding 12 mm thick C.M. 1:4 backing.
Aluminium windows /Ventilators/ Wall spans
Note:- i) The contractor shall submit 6 copies of shop
drawings for each windows, ventilators showingdimensional details of construction etc. for theapproval of the Engineer in Charge and according tothe approved shop drawing a sample of each ofwindows with all fittings and fixtures with lockingarrangement including glass panes etc. completed as per schedule of quantities, specifications anddrawings should be submitted for preliminaryinspection before fabricating on large scale. Afterpreliminary inspection , the sample should be fixed atsite to ascertain its performance. Large scalemanufacturing should be taken up only afterrectification of defects etc. to the full satisfaction ofthe department and after obtaining formal approval.
ii) All doors, windows, ventilators/wall span sectionshall be anodized extruded section of M/s Jindal /M/s Indal or other approved quality and manufacture.
iii) All fittings/fixtures shall be of approvedmake/quality and as approved by Engineer in Charge.
iv) All dimensions mentioned in the drawing areapproximate. Necessary allowance for fixing overbox type aluminum section, and also necessaryallowances for fixing tolerances to be consideredwhile manufacturing. While manufacturing, actual siteconsidered. Necessary planning for fixing the unithas to be carried out by the contractor without anyextra cost to the department. However, rate quotedby the contractor shall hold good.

v) All glass panes shall be of M/s Modi guard vi)Glass panes shall be fixed with EDPM approved gasket/ channel, to be free fromsettling. Necessary mastic to be provided againstseepage of rain water.
vii) All top hung shutters to be provided with heavyduty friction hinges.
viii) In case of damage of any existing work, thesame has to be made good/restored to originalcondition by the contractor at his own cost.
ix) Payment shall be made per Kg basis. Aluminumsections such as shutter frames, track window / doorframe etc., shall only be measured linearly as peractual / finished cutting size nearest to centimeterand multiplied with sectional weight of the individual section and the total quantity of aluminum section willbe arrived at for payment without extra allowance forwastage.
xi) No separate payment for fittings such as lockingarrangement, hinges, fittings and fixtures, gasketetc., shall be measured for payment. Bidders arerequired to consider the cost of all fittings, fixtures,locking arrangement , handles, peg stays, gaskets,screws, hinges etc., while quoting the rate for unitweight of aluminum sections for window / door.
Supplying and fixing in position at all floors integrated bronze anodized matt finished [ 15micron thick], aluminum section [extruded] foraluminum doors, shutters, sliding/ top hung/ fixed/adjustable louvered windows, wall spans ofapproved manufactures for following types withextruded sections of Jindal / Indal / Aluminax orother approved equivalent sections with size andweights as shown in the drawing, for frames andshutters [ including wastages if any ] conforming torelevant I.S specifications with all approved Bronzeanodized aluminum fittings and accessories, lockingarrangements concealed lock, 2/3 rollers with ballbearings of superior quality all as shown in thedrawing, including providing and fixing aluminumchannel beading / glazing clips fixed with necessarybronze anodized screws, grouting the gap withthermocol & Poly-sulphide sealant etc. all completegenerally as per drawings, specifications etc., all as Signature of Tenderer with Date and seal : DESCRIPTION OF ITEM

Section should be cut to required size and thenanodized [ 15 micron thick ] by electrostatic means.
Providing clear / ground selected quality sheet glassof M/s. Modi Guard for glazing or other paneling andfixing in position to the aluminum frame workincluding fixing aluminum channel beading / glazingclips and providing and fixing with two wayEPDMgasketing / putty / mastic, to ensure waterand air tightness and suitable neoprene cushions /gasket in grooves, necessary silver / bronzeanodized screws etc. including scaffolding allcomplete generally as per drawings, specificationsand as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. PLASTERING WORK
Note :- i) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with‘Thiyyas’ or ‘Tapanis’ and shall be got approved bythe Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying "RENOVA" synthetic plaster finish by approved manufactured over plasteredsurface by applying two coats Renovo ASP bytrowel and applying two coats finish of approved colour and shade on specified locationsinternal/external surface in plane, curved/anygeometric shape as recommended by approvedmanufacturer, to perfect line, level, plumb includingfinishing with sharp edge at corners, niches etc. allas per manufacturer's recommendations andspecification or as directed by Engineer in Charge,including all labour materials, scaffolding, double Signature of Tenderer with Date and seal : DESCRIPTION OF ITEM

WATERPROOFING TREATMENT
a) The contractor shall get written approval from theEngineer in Charge, for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of thewaterproofing before commencement of work.
b) The contractor shall test the surface where waterproofing treatment provided for bone dry conditionby filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shallappear on the surrounding wall or under side of theslab c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond onappropriate stamp paper in the proforma as perSection 10 (iii) of "Conditions and Clauses ofContract - 2008" for the entire waterproofingtreatment for maintaining the surroundings andunder side surfaces of the waterproofing treatedarea in bone dry condition for 10 years. During theguarantee period the contractor shall attend allleakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost,starting the work of checking up and rectificationwithin a week's time from the date of intimationabout such leakages/defects.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved bydepartment, including preparation of surface asrequired for treatment of slopping roofs, terracesetc consisting of following operations as per IS :2645 :2003, With average thickness of 115mm andminimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm.
Following works are included in above item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cementusing 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed withproprietary water proofing compound over the RCCslab including cleaning the surface before treatment.
b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brickbats 25 mm to 100 mm size with 50% of cementmortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed withproprietary water proofing compound over 20 mmthick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement : 5coarse sand) admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound to required slope and treatingsimilarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height Signature of Tenderer with Date and seal : DESCRIPTION OF ITEM
including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a secondcoat of cement slurry admixed with proprietarywaterproofing compound.
d) Finishing the surfaces with 20 mm thick joint lesscement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)admixed with proprietary water proofing compoundand finally finishing the surface to receive the ChinaMosaic waterproofing treatment.
e) The whole terrace so finished shall be floodedwith water for a minimum period of two weeks forcuring and for final test. All above operations to bedone in order and as directed and specified by theEngineer in Charge.
DISMANTLING & DEMOLISHING
a) Before commencement of dismantling anddemolition work, the agency shall take detailed jointmeasurements and got approved from the Engineerin Charge.
b) After dismantling & demolition of the work,relevant area shall be cleaned and kept free fromany stacked/ dumped material so that the new workcan be taken without any obstruction.
c) The agency shall bear the cost of transporting allthe serviceable stacked materials received fromdismantling & demolition work from the siteexcluding the material to be reused in the works tothe departmental store as directed by the Engineerin Charge. d) The unserviceable materials shall be desposed to the nearest dumping areas as approved bystatutory authority by mechanical transport.
e)Approval from concerned authorities is theresponsibility of contractor & quoted rate shall beinclusive of all charges if any from the statutoryauthorities such as royalty etc.
