RACE 1

3-BUD NITE-Debuting on the lasix medication tonight after a very impressive qualifier at Hoosier
on 4/6. Raced very well at this level last fall and is the one to beat if he doesn’t need the start.
9-TOBY K-Finished second to a horse that came back to win a NW2 on 4/10 and could continue
to move forward tonight. Just needs a hot pace from out here.
4-BATTLESHOE DEAL-Three-year old just missed in his last after being impeded shortly after
the quarter. Fits well tonight and must be given a look.
2-LL HOPE-Went a big mile last time out. Made up a lot of ground after making a break and
could continue to move forward. Consider.
8-COLD GOLD-In too tough last time out in stakes action. Qualifier was good on 3/23 and will
need a similar effort.
7-BOZO KNOWS-Faded after a solid effort on 3/31 and will need more tonight. Is 0 for 28.
1-SIDECAR-Posted a solid last quarter in his qualifier and gets the rail again tonight. Should
have good value again.
6-COOL YOUR JETS-Qualifier is good but this guy has not been out since last summer. Might
need the start.
10-BROWN BOTTLE FLU-Second to Cool Your Jets on 4/6 but might need the start from out
here.
5-ROWDY TWO SOX-Didn’t race well at Maywood and will need to improve. Pass.

RACE 2

3-KATES ATOM N-Has looked like a new horse since being acquired by this barn about a month
ago and looked like new money in her last start. Steps up the class ladder tonight but it doesn’t
matter.
2-JULIA JULIA-Debuting on the lasix medication tonight. She has found success at this level in
the past and look for her to be up close early from the inside. Major player.
1-MUDGE’SPIECEOFART-Been much improved in her last two starts since being acquired by
this barn. Gets the pole tonight and she raced well last week.
5-COURAGE OF LOVE-Was somewhat better in her last start and could continue to improve with
the third start on lasix. Not impossible.
4-LOTTERY SAHBRA-Needed that last start but she faces tougher and I will give her another
one tonight.
6-PENN EMOTION-Was a little better in her last start but still needs to show me more.

RACE 3

2-DOMESTIC DIVA-She needed that last start and had a ton of trot in the late stages. Just ran
out of real estate and she fits like a glove tonight from the inside. Choice for win.
5-KOPPER KACTUS-Jumped it off stride as the favorite following a solid effort at this level on
3/31. Fits well tonight and can be a factor with an error free trip.
1-CITRONELLA-Mare was much improved in her last start at this level and gets a good post
tonight. In a spot to get a good trip from the rail.
3-GREEK EASTER BUNNY-His last two efforts are average at best but he has shown flashes of
talent. Not impossible.
6-SOUTHERN EXPOUSER-Been somewhat better in his last two but the win record is a little
alarming.
4-MY DEVINE WINNER-Couldn’t last on the front end in a needed start and could be better with
an easier time of it.
7-VACATION CREATION-Didn’t race well in this debut at this level and is hard to endorse.
8-HAPPY VALLEY-Having trouble staying on stride and draws bad. Pass.

RACE 4

5-BLISSFULL BEAUTY-Top stable sends this well bred filly after a solid closing effort in her
qualifier. Made up a lot of ground and she looks well placed against this suspect bunch.
8-SPORTY JAYLA-Expect better tonight. Even though her last few races don’t look like much,
she did face tough foes such as Odds on Rose and Swarde. Major player on the drop.
6-BARBIE PRESTON-Sprung the big upset on Sunday and is eligible at time of entry. Fits well
again tonight and will need to repeat that last effort.
3-MAMA LIZ-Tough trip in her last and she didn’t race bad. Fits well in claimers but she tends to
bear out late. Still must be respected.
1-SASSY SOLDIER-Faded in her last start at this level and is coming back on short rest. Gets
the pole but will need more.
4-OG’S TONYA P-Didn’t race bad in her career debut to get a check and could sneak into this
with more improvement.
2-ROCKIN ROLL DANCER-Jumped it off stride on Sunday from the poor post and will need an
error free trip to have any chance.
7-PIPECREEK JATA-Drops hoping to improve but I will wait for better.

RACE 5

3-FOX VALLEY MO JO-Mare has been great in NW4 in her last three starts and looks well
placed again tonight. Sharp, and is the one to beat in here.
5-GUMCORNER VICKY-Turned things around big time in her last start. Was a game first over
victor and she is another one that fits well tonight.
2-IVY LEAGUE STUDENT-Raced well to be third after racing first over and draws well again.
This guy rarely gives you a bad effort and warrants a gander tonight.
1-BONES OF STEEL-Was a tad better last week and could improve from the rail. Has early
speed and look for him to use it tonight.
6-WHATA MUSCLEMAN-Didn’t fare well from the poor post and could fare better with the move
to NW4.
8-VINNI THE WEASLE-Needed that last start but draws bad and is untested at this level. Pass.
4-CMBEATROTTER-Has not raced well in this class and looks to be in tough.
7-SUGAR BOY-Draws bad again and is big longshot in this spot.

RACE 6

4-BRATWURST DAYS-Veteran has excelled at this level in 2005 and was a solid winner last
week. Can race up front or from behind and is the one to beat.
8-LOU E HART-Closed fast in this first start for this barn and he posted a solid last quarter. Been
a model of consistency in his last few. Major player.
3-LIVERPOOL-Woke up last time out in a fourth place finish after racing first over. Has found
success at this level and could continue to improve.
9-MACKREE-Changes barns tonight. Draws bad again but barn has been solid thus far in 2005.
Could improve in this spot.
2-PARIS TEXAS N-Didn’t race well after the sick scratch on 4/3 and is longshot at best tonight
despite the post.
5-KENNAN’S JEFFREY-Faded to sixth at this level on 4/5 and will need a repeat of that 3/29
performance. Should have good value.
1-KABENERO-Been better in his last three and gets the rail tonight. Could be a good longshot
for exotics.
6-ZAPADASH-Dropped to this level and didn’t fare well. I will wait for better.
7-HE’S A CARD SHARK-Has tapered off recently and is hard to endorse.

RACE 7

7-WESLEY SNIP-Went off a big price on Sunday and raced well to hold second. This field is
much easier and this guy is getting better with every start. Choice for win.
6-NO FEAR NUKE-I’m looking for a better effort tonight. Been facing some tough foes in series
action and should improve tonight. Barn is doing well as of late.
3-MACBEST-Raced well at this level last week and he really didn’t race bad after being parked
the mile on 3/31. Fits well and must be respected.
5-BEST LIFE-Wiped out from the eight post at Maywood in his last and should be better with the
move to the big track. Consider.
1-CANACO NUKES-Will try Balmoral after racing well at Maywood in his last two. Gets the rail
and he should be up close early.
2-CANYON HANOVER-Coming back on short rest but should find this field more appealing.
Should have good value.
8-XFL-Four-year old has been a lot better recently but gets a bad post for his closing style. Will
need a hot pace.
4-FOREVER TO THE TOP-Didn’t race bad in a needed start but he has missed a few weeks.

RACE 8

4-LINDA’S ROSE-Got a great trip and was able to get by Major Shirley on 4/3. Getting better
with every start since arriving in Chicago and is the one to beat in this prep.
7-MAJOR SHIRLEY-Beat in the late stages by the above on 4/2 and look for her to leave again
tonight. Her win percentage this year is 50% and is a major player tonight.
2-SWARDE-Crushed nw3/4 last week and did it the hard way. This filly has a good late kick and
she is sharp at the moment. Top threat to the above two.
5-SENSUOUS WOMAN-Didn’t need that last start as you can see by her solid win on Sunday.
Barn had two winners that day and she was impressive in victory.
3-AMERICAN RICHES-Was a well beaten third to Linda’s Rose in her last start and is racing well
at the moment. Longshot to win but use in exotics.
9-MAXCINE GRAM-Been a great claim by this barn but she is coming back on short rest. Faces
tougher but will need more from out here.
10-SHE’S CASH HEAVY-Does have stakes experience but gets the ten hole and hasn’t been out
since last September.
1-MASTER OF MY HEART-Has a lot of early speed but will face a very tough test tonight.
8-FOX VALLEY CARMEL-Making her second start on lasix and she didn’t race bad on 4/5.
Longshot at best.
6-QUEEN MAKEDA-Well beaten in her last and is in too tough tonight. Pass.

RACE 9

7-MILLION DOLLAR BYE-Just got beat in the late stages after setting fast early fractions from the
poor post in his last. He will be leaving again tonight and is the one to beat if gets an easier time
of it on the front end.
6-ALTERITY-Finally got a much overdue victory last week. This guy has been a model of
consistency in 2005 and might leave tonight to avoid coming from last. Major player.
2-ROYAL VIC-Mare has missed some time but was racing very well prior to her brief vacation. Is
well placed tonight from the inside and is the main threat to the top pair.
5-MR MACKINTOSH-Made up a lot of ground last week and posted a solid last quarter in the
process. Seven-year old is very consistent and his closing style is benefited by the short field.
3-REDWOOD ROVA-Tough trip in his last and he will jump on occasion to give you a big effort.
Could be a good longshot for exotics.
1-SOUTHERN VICTORIAK-Faded badly in a needed start and gets the rail tonight. Still a big
longshot.
4-GREETINGS-Qualifier is good but he is in very tough. Longshot at best.

RACE 10

8-MJ’S FANTASY-Looks solid tonight. Beat a very similar field last week and remains in the
same class. Draws bad but he has speed to overcome the post.
1-BETRUETOUS-Four-year old has been somewhat better in his last two and finished fourth to
MJ’s Fantasy on 4/5. In a spot to improve from the rail.
2-MC MATZ’S ZTAM-Showed signs of life in his last start and this guy has found success at this
level in the past. Draws well and should be given a look.
6-FOUR STARZ TICKETS-Got a great trip and was able to finish second at this level on 4/5.
Barn is doing well lately and this guy could continue to improve.
3-ROCKET TO A STAR-Didn’t make up much ground in his last two and should have good value
in this spot. Needs more.
5-CLIFTON MARVEL N-Came off the layoff and was an impressive winner against cheaper.
Steps up the class ladder and will need more.
7-LET ME TRY-Has tapered off in his last three and is a longshot at best tonight.
4-THE CONDUCTOR-Is not sharp and I will wait for better.

RACE 11

3-LETMEDOITMYWAY-Sat along the rail in her last start and finished well as the favorite. Gets
some much needed class relief tonight and should handle this group.
6-MEEKO MANIA-Been facing some very tough foes in her last few starts in claimers. Harmony
Oaks Gi Gi came back to win the open on Saturday so those races had some depth. Major
player.
2-NICE DECISION-Mare does well at Balmoral and she raced well at this level last week. Draws
well and she must be given a look from the inside.
9-DELALADY-Recent claim just came up a little short against claimers and steps up to a level
where she is unproven. Will need more from the poor post.
7-DEVON ON THE BEACH-Put in a great effort against easier and she could continue to improve
with the third start off the layoff. Can she handle the class hike?
8-BOBS MINUTE MAID-Her last effort is average at best and she is another one that is unproven
at this level.
4-CANINE CANDY-Didn’t race well in her last start at this level and I will wait for better.
5-GRANDE HOPE-Qualifier is good but she has not raced since last November and I will give her
a start.
1-LITTLE MISS NUKES-Didn’t race well in her local debut and I will pass.
10-MIRITY N-Well beaten in a needed start and draws bad. Pass.
